AMAS 2017 will be held at the Science and Engineering Centre (SEC) at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Gardens Point Campus in Brisbane, Australia.

QUT is a highly successful Australian university with an applied emphasis in courses and research. Based in Brisbane, the university has a global outlook, some 42,000 students, including 6000 from overseas, and an annual budget of more than AU$750 million. QUT Gardens Point is Brisbane’s only inner-city university campus, situated next to the Brisbane River and the Botanic Gardens. Public transport, accommodation, shopping and dining options are all within walking distance.
Science and Engineering Centre (SEC)
SEC plays a vital role in the university’s recently founded Institute for Future Environments, which consists of over 200 researchers from many disciplines collaborating to solve some of our most pressing global challenges.
The Cube is at the heart of QUT’s Science and Engineering Centre. The Cube is one of the world’s largest digital interactive learning and display spaces dedicated to providing an inspiring, explorative and participatory experience of QUT’s Science and Engineering research. Part science lab, part digital engagement, the Cube is a hub of scientific exploration for high school students, the QUT community and the wider public.
